All of these CAD guidelines stipulate requirements as regard:

• Plan contents (for floor plans, sections, elevations etc.)
• Build-up of drawings (layer attributions, line thicknesses, demands regarding quality to be submitted etc.)
• All rising building elements (walls, both load-bearing and non-load-bearing, columns, piers etc), and they normally form a fixed part of the contract that defines what must be supplied by the architect who designs public buildings.
