Surveying services to accompany and monitor the construction process
If you are planning to erect a building on a site (a lot or an allotment
garden) we can provide the following services for your benefit:
- Insertion of the project (new-build or extension) graphically in the
site and heights plan.
- Checking the project with regard to the distances that must be kept
to neighbouring properties, ensuring that stipulated building lines and
heights are observed.
- Exact setting-out of the axes or corner points of the project on the
property. We thus assume responsibility for the correct positioning of
the structure in reality.
- Determining the datum and fixed height points as a basis for the
building heights.
- Exact survey of facades from an architectural perspective (e.g.
window axes, cornice heights, and much more).
- Regular examination and documentation of the building during
erection.
- Measurement of settlement where cracks occur, or as a precautionary
measure during construction of the building.
